Michigan Central Broadband Company (MCBC) is a wholly owned subsidary of Upper Peninsula Telephone Company, located for over 50 years in the Carney, Michigan area. MCBC was started to provide focus on clientele located in the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, increase services and expand customer support.
As a regulated local exchange carrier, MCBC serves client locations with exchange offices in the northern and western central areas of Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
