UPTC's Lower Peninsula exchanges are 400 to 600 miles from its
Carney, Michigan headquarters. For the purpose of providing a focused approach
to sales and customer services, the company decided to create Michigan Central
Broadband Company LLC (MCBC) to be the operating business unit for the Lower
Peninsula exchanges.
MCBC is a wholly owned subsidiary of UPTC and support for the
organization will continue to be provided by the same people that you have been
dealing with for many years. In time, MCBC will begin the process of creating
its own separate sales, marketing and support resources for the Lower
Peninsula.
If you reside in the Lower Peninsula, Richard, Michael and
Jeffrey will continue to be the local field service resources with the
technical and operations headquarters located in Johannesburg, Michigan. The
new numbers are 877-216-0505 or 877-216-0502 for service. You will still be
speaking with Stacy, Karen, John and Cathy who will continue to provide the
